This little frame will take 8025 motors & the supplied supports are just enough. personally I drilled out the holes to use M2 supports. It's taken an absolutely beating & I've not broken it yet.

Comments so far: - Plenty of space and good looks. - The elastic rings could be more firm on the motor openings. - Seems to have too much space up front, camera is better placed in front of the two front posts. - Frame is more flexible than I expected. Both negative and positive. - Great clearance for 55mm props, kind of tricky for 65mm props.

As far as brushed frames go, this is getting seriously lightweight. It's not horrendously stiff, but if you're through the constant crashing stage of quad flying it's strong enough to brush off the lighter "Whoops" moments without breaking. The only real problem is that most brushed FC's have the USB port on the back, So the single rear post gets on the way of it. To solve that I just built it reversed, so the camera is mounted under that "Fish tail" bit (Cut down slightly) with a cable tie.. Flyes pretty well and can convincingly acro without ripping itself apart. On these micros the enemy is always weight, So having a frame this light is a pretty good starting point

I've read reviews stating you have to drill, or otherwise modify, the sealing rings in order to get 8520 motors to fit, that isn't the case. I got mine in without any problems, pushing them up through the bottom. It's a tight fit but it's supposed be, you want them snug, and they are. I added an LED strip under the camera for FPV in the dark. Take off weight is 60g, it's not my lightest, or fastest, 8mm brushed micro but it's fun to fly in the dark. Only thing I don't like is the back standoff being right in the middle, I can't access the USB port without removing it. But a FC with a side port would alleviate that problem. Overall I really like this frame and highly recommend it.

Good points are that this is very light and gives you plenty of room to add your FPV kit. Bad points are that it's made light by cutting out so much carbon that it ended up a little flimsy, and that central rear standoff get's in the way of the FC's USB socket. I ended up slicing some of the top decks "Fish tail" off to use it as a camera mount and building the frame back to front. Flyes well on the Racerstar motors and 56mm props.
